Cinzia has a background in food. She has worked in the wine industry in London, and written numerous articles on food and wine culture for Italian local newspapers. She has always been interested in food and particularly in food relations as a central characterising aspect of social life and communities.
She completed her Master?s degree in Social Psychology with a dissertation on Food in the Social Representations and is now undertaking qualitative research for her PhD on the impact of global food models on national communities. In particular, she is trying to identify ?resistance? elements, such as community values (in the broader sense).
